Energy Policy; We need to make ourselves independent of foreign sources of energy A.S.A.P. I support drilling for
oil in A.N.W.R. , for shale oil in the West,
on the outer continental shelf and, quite frankly, anywhere else we
can find it. We also need to develop alternative sources of energy like solar, wind, hydrogen fuel cells, clean coal and hybrid
technologies, just to name a few. The answer for the short term is to DRILL HERE and DRILL NOW !!! ( in an environmentally
friendly way, of course !! ) We do not need to rely on Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Iran and Russia for our oil and natural gas
supplies. We have plenty of oil and natural gas right here in the U.S.A. THIS IS A NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE !!!!!
Immigration;
I am a strong supporter of LEGAL immigration. I am strongly opposed to giving amnesty to people that break our laws by entering
our country illegally. We need to seal our borders to stop the flow of illegal immigrants, some of whom are criminals or potential
terrorists, into our country. We need to come down hard on employers that hire illegals. If there are no jobs for them, these
folks will not come here. I do not fault anyone that is trying to find a better life for themselves and their families. However,
they must obey and respect the laws of our country.
Taxation; It's time to put the IRS out of business
by getting rid of the Federal Income Tax and replacing it with the Fair Tax. Under the Fair Tax, EVERYONE will pay their fair
share. People who work hard and invest will not be penalized for their efforts. With the Fair Tax, April 15th will be just
another sunny spring day !!! There will be no need to fill out a complicated and confusing income tax return. Please go to

Middle East Policy ; I STRONGLY SUPPORT ISRAEL, OUR CLOSE FRIEND AND ALLY !! I SUPPORT
efforts to end terrorism and to promote peace and democracy around the globe.
Life ; I AM
PROUDLY PRO-LIFE. I will fight to protect the lives of innocent unborn children. I am opposed to EMBRYONIC stem cell research
and human cloning. The reversal of the Roe vs. Wade Decision will be a top priority of mine as your United States Senator
!!!! I am opposed to the death penalty.
Social Security; I support giving people conservative investment
options with their Social Security savings similar to a 401K. The Social Security Trust Fund should be made " off
limits " for purposes other than Social Security.
Smoking Ban; I strongly
support a national ban on smoking in ALL indoor public places with NO EXCEPTIONS !
Minimum
Wage; I support a federal minimum wage of $8.50 per hour to be adjusted annually to account for increases in the cost of living.
This minimum wage will also apply to employees that earn tips.
I support the decriminalization
of marijuana for personal / medical use.
I strongly support Second Amendment rights.
I
believe all active duty military personnel should be given the same rights given to people 21 years of age and older. If someone
is old enough to put their life on the line for their country, they are old enough to drink a beer !!!!!!!
